Environmental Testing
Environmental testing is the measurement and analysis of samples taken from a location. Environmental testing encompasses water resources, air pollution, waste treatment, soil analysis, and site assessment and remediation.
Environmental testing can be conducted biologically to identify specific microorganisms or chemically to identify particular compounds or materials, e.g., heavy metals or plastics.
In landscape remediation, environmental testing can inform efforts to detoxify a landscape, or it can detect potentially harmful microorganisms living in a nearby water supply. In addition, these levels can be continually measured over time to monitor the results of remediation efforts.
